Board of Directors

Since 1997 DART employs people in the Prince George Community who want to earn a living, contribute to society and be a true help to others. DART employees walk and work together mentoring each other with their individual skills and strengths to provide a motivated learning and working environment that supports the success of all involved – both our employees and those who hire us to work for them.

Clayton Dyck
DART Director Clayton Dyck

Clayton Dyck

Director

Clayton began working in the social service industry back in 1996 as a street worker for New Westminster based Detached Youth Program. Here Clayton learned from the “Street People” that they migrated to the street lifestyle because “they knew where they stood…it was safe.” This paradigm shift was in contrast of what Clayton understand as safe, going against what society deemed safe. Clayton in his journey contracted with the Ministry of Children and Families for 10 years assisting families who were at risk of loosing thier children, as well as 21 years as a care aid for those with Developmental Disabilities.
Clayton sustained a life altering injury in a vehicle incident in 2011 unable to work full time, thereupon in 2014 he was introduced to DART and the board of directors. Clayton saw the vision that Bob Scott had, a vision that matched the paradigm shift Clayton experienced years ago. A unconventional SAFE environment for those dealing with addictions and other issues… A place to learn skills, build a résumé and most important, community.
